ENITT (CEO Ki Song-do), a company specializing in safety management and energy efficiency artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, registered the 'AI-based optical fiber acoustic distribution sensor safety monitoring system (e-DAS)' as an excellent product with the Public Procurement Service to preoccupy the domestic market and advance into overseas markets. It was announced on the 23rd that it would go out.

Disaster safety AI solution ‘e-DAS’, developed by applying Distributed Acoustic Vibration Detection (DAS) technology, uses optical fiber to measure the distribution of vibrations or sound signals occurring in all sections of the measurement object in real time. Unlike conventional point sensors that measure a limited section, a single optical fiber and device can simultaneously detect events that occur in a section of up to 50 km.

In particular, it is possible to replace the detection of abnormal operation of facilities and structures, fire prevention, etc., which are performed by patrol inspection by putting manpower into high voltage lines, railways, nuclear power plants, ports, airports, military facilities, oil pipelines, heat pipes, gas pipes, data transmission cables, etc. can It has the advantages of easy installation and maintenance and cost reduction.

In June of last year, ENITT obtained the ‘innovative product designation certification’ from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for e-DAS, enabling a 3-year private contract and being given the opportunity to participate in a pilot procurement project by the Public Procurement Service. Last month, it participated in the ‘Korea Nara Market Expo 2023’ hosted by the Public Procurement Service held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, and received favorable reviews for its e-DAS. During the exhibition, about 20 companies and 10 public institutions requested technology introductions and business partnerships estimated at 6 billion won.

The company is preparing a plan to pass the excellent procurement registration through the fast track by successfully carrying out the ‘innovative prototype trial purchase project’ until the first half of next year. To preoccupy and expand the market and pioneer overseas sales channels, △Registration of excellent products (NEP, NET) by Public Procurement Service △Acquisition of European and American product certifications (CE, FCC, etc.) △Establishment of local corporations in Europe and the U.S. from 2024 to 2025 am.
