The Green Energy Research Institute (Director Heo Yong-ho) held the "2019 Technology Trade Support Center Performance Exchange Meeting" at Naju Hotel Core on the 11th as part of the Energy New Industry SW Convergence Class project of the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The institute is supporting the creation of an environment to revitalize technology transactions by discovering SW convergence technology patents that can be commercialized among KEPCO's technologies, universities and research institutes in the region, and spreading promising energy-new industry SW convergence technologies to local companies.
At this event, the results of the supporting company were displayed, and representative achievements were the production of Green&S's Multi-Channel Synchronous Phase Measurement (PMU) MMI module, ENITTT's AC/DC hybrid power measurement sensor module, and the development of an intelligent power control system using it.
In addition, Shin Sun-jin, an expert in the field of technology commercialization (Real Blocks), was invited to share success factors and know-how, and discussed the performance of support projects and future commercialization directions.
"This performance exchange meeting will not only provide knowledge or information sharing but also build a foundation for cooperative networks among members and supplement and specialize in service systems for technology commercialization (technology transfer)," said Heo Yong-ho, president of Green Energy Research Institute, said.
The energy new industry SW convergence cluster construction project aims to create sustainable future growth engines through energy and SW convergence, support for start-ups and SW companies, foster human resources, and establish networks.
The project is co-hosted by the Jeonnam Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency and Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, KEPCO, KEPCO KDN, and Green Energy Research Institute, and local governments will participate.
