KEPCO KDN ICT & Security Conference Field Booth is crowded with visitors

41 companies, including artificial intelligence, security, and integrated management systems, participate

At the "2022 Light Garam Energy Valley ICT & Security Conference" held at KEPCO KDN under the theme of "New Normal Era, Digital Transformation of the Power Industry," promising companies to lead the rapidly changing power industry based on state-of-the-art technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data gathered together.

Moreover, as the Act on the Punishment of Severe Disasters has been enforced since this year, demands for safety and agility have increased, so companies that put innovation and creative technology as core values have been met.

Another major system, e-DSS, is an AI-based optical fiber high-precision temperature and strain sensor real-time safety monitoring system that improves precision by converging with LiDAR technology for the first time in Korea. It monitors the abnormal condition of the structure by measuring the distribution of high-resolution strain and enables continuous monitoring without the installed dead zone. Applications include LNG, tunnels, cranes, power, and submarine cables.

- Human ICT (Human Eye City)

Through the latest ICT convergence, Human I-City is taking off as a company that supports stable management activities of companies and contributes to public safety and innovative changes.

Alpha Plant Vision, a representative system, is an artificial intelligence safety system optimized for industrial plant operating environment. It overcomes the limitations of visual monitoring by monitoring personnel of the existing CCTV integrated control center and prevents the reduction of control efficiency due to frequent false alarms.

It plays a role in protecting the safety of industrial sites by monitoring artificial intelligence images that quickly and accurately detect industrial accidents through image analysis servers and screening control systems.

It analyzes and detects fire, falls, and access to dangerous equipment through deep learning algorithms and notifies them quickly. In addition, Alpha Plant Vision has a high level of detection performance with an optimized AI model that continuously learns image big data for special plant environments for many years. In addition, it detects complex events on real-time video screens such as workers collapsing and not wearing safety equipment according to user settings, and also supports system customization.
